These aluminium cooling fins were made using hybrid printing strategy where the base plate of the print was used as the base of the cooling fins. This technique allows a large part of the printed material to be replaced by the aluminium plate which eliminates a lof of production time. The method also eliminates the need for supports or any thermal deformations on the base which means a very accurate result can be obtained.
